Bank Negara Malaysia menyediakan 35 beasiswa S2 kepada mahasiswa Malaysia dan 35 lain kepada mahasiswa non Malaysia untuk menyelesaikan program CIFP di International Centre For Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. CIFP adalah kualifikasi profesi di bidang Islamic Finance setingkat pascasarjana.

Beasiswa mencakup tunjangan sebesar RM 22.000,-, tunjangan bulanan sebesar 2.500,- dan pengembalian tiket pesawat untuk mahasiswa non Malaysia. Untuk diketahui, beasiswa ini tidak diberikan setiap tahun.

I have the pleasure in announcing that Bank Negara Malaysia (central bank of Malaysia) has awarded full scholarships for 2009 for about 35 non- Malaysian and 35 Malaysian scholars to complete their cifp program at INCEIF, Malaysia. The program will start in June 2009.

CIFP is a Masters level professional qualification in Islamic Finance. The Malaysian Qualification Agency has recognized it as equivalent to a Masters degree. the requirements of a US Masters degree (42credit hours) is required for the cifp.

The program starts in June 2009. it has to be done full time (12 months) in Malaysia. The scholarship covers full tuition waiver of RM22,000, a monthly stipend of RM2,500 per month and foreigners get a return air ticket. INCEIF would like to give priority to those collaborating institutions who will bond their staff to teach islamic finance programs in their institutions and for their graduates to do the cifp in the future. However, bright individuals who are graduates (a good bachelor’s degree) can also apply. Time is of the essence

the scholarships are not given every year. this is a golden opportunity for those who can spare a year.

Normally a first or second class upper bachalors degree is expected for students to be considered.
