The Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, menawarkan beasiswa kepada kandidat yang ingin melanjutkan studi setingkat S2 untuk melakukan riset bidang psikiatri. Program ini dapat ditempuh secara paruh (parttime) waktu maupun penuh waktu (fulltime). Besarnya beasiswa yang di tawarkan adalah 50% dari biaya pendidikan atau sebesar £2,950.-. Untuk kandidat yang menempuh program paruh waktu, beasiswa akan diberikan dalam jangka dua tahun.

Scholarships are being offered to students applying for the MSc in Psychiatric Research at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. The value of the scholarship will be 50% of the tuition fees or £2950. For part-time students funding will be spread over two years.

Course Description

This 1 year full-time or 2 year part-time programme provides an in-depth practical and theoretical knowledge base to guide the practice and interpretation of research in the field of mental health at the highest scientific level. The programme has been designed for psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists interested in a career in psychiatric research.

The course will appeal to mental health professionals interested in expanding their research skills, something which will become increasingly important with the recent launch of King’s Health Partners, one of the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centres. The aim of this collaboration between King’s College London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trusts, King’s College Hospital NHS Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Trust is to translate research more rapidly and effectively into clinical practice.

Applicants should hold a second class honours degree (2:1) from a UK University or overseas equivalent; or other qualification in medicine; or a professional qualification obtained by a formal examination and approved by the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.
