Pemerintah Norwegia melalui “The International Ibsen Scholarships” memberikan kesempatan beasiswa S3 bidang Seni sebesar NOK 1.000.000,– (setara Euro 125.000,- / US Dollar 150.000). Beasiswa ini di berikan dalam rangka mengenang Henrik Ibsen, seorang tokoh seni drama kelahiran Norwegia.

Tahun 2010 adalah kali ke tiga penghargaan ini di berikan. Untuk periode 2010, aplikasi di tutup hingga 15 April.

Scholarship funds amount to NOK 1.000.000, – (approx. Euro 125.000,-/US Dollars 150.000,-) will be awarded to Ibsen-related projects worldwide.

The International Ibsen Scholarships were initiated by the Norwegian government and will be awarded for the third time in 2010. We solicit relevant applications, from projects throughout the world.

The scholarships are meant to act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen, and are applicable to individuals, organizations and institutions within the artistic and cultural communities. The applications are subject to scrutiny by an appointed jury.

Previous years, projects from Asia, North-America, Europe, Africa and Australia have received scholarships.

The presentation of the scholarships is staged in Ibsen’s birth town, Skien in Norway in September 2010 and coincides with Skien International Ibsen Conference.

The application deadline for The International Ibsen Scholarships is April 15th, 2010.
