University of Regensburg, Jerman, membuka lowongan riset untuk tingkat S3 dan Postdoktoral bagi kandidat yang tertarik di bidang Machine Learning, Statistics, Microarray Analysis, dan Cancer Biology. Pada riset ini akan di bahas mengenai pemodelan jalur transduksi sinyal “oncogenic” untuk proses komputasi klasifikasi kanker.

Durasi penelitian untuk tingkat Postdoktoral adalah dua tahun, yang memungkinkan untuk diperpanjang. Sedangkan untuk tingkat S3 adalah tiga tahun.

We have openings for Ph.D.-students and Post-Doc researchers in Bioinformatics und Biostatistics at the University of Regensburg, Germany. In our research projects, we model oncogenic signal transduction pathways for the computational classification of cancer. The successsful candidate will have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. respectively in bioinformatics, statistics, computer science, mathematics, medicine or biology.

Knowledge in one or more of the following fields are advantageous but not required:

• Machine learning
• Statistics
• Microarray analysis
• Cancer biology

You should be interested in developing new methods in the topics listed above and/or in collaborations with project partners.

We are an interdisciplinary group working with mathematical models on the one hand but also perform a lot of applied research in collaboration with clinical and biological groups.

Post-doc positions are limited to 2 years but can be prolonged.
Ph.D.-positions are limited to 3 years.
