Minamas-Sime Darby Postgraduate Scholarship Programme 2010 (Overseas)

It is our aim to help you reach for the stars.
Scholarships are available for postgraduate (Strata Dua – S2) in overseas universities.
Minimum Requirements
- Indonesia citizen only
- Possess at least 3 years of working experience
- Obtained a Second Class Upper (Honours) for Bachelor’s Degree (applicable for Master’s Degree)
- Obtained a distinction or ‘A’ grade average or equivalent (if there is a point system) for Master’s Degree (applicable for Doctorate Degree)
- Field of study must be relevant and will add value to Sime Darby core businesses
- Postgraduate students who are currently pursuing Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree (PhD) at selected overseas universities are also eligible to apply
- Proficiency in English is a MUST
- Strong leadership qualities and active in social and voluntary activities
Service Bond Period
- On completion of their studies, scholars will be required to serve Sime Darby Group of Companies for 3 to 6 years, depending on the duration and value of the award
Fields of Study
Scholarship will be offered to individual pursuing the following fields of study:
- Business: Accountancy, Financial Management
- Engineering and Technology: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial
- Agriculture-related: Agricultural Study, Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Plantations Technology, Estate Management
- Science: Biology

Value of Scholarship (Overseas)
The sponsorship covers the following:
- Full tuition and academic fees
- Living allowance
- Books allowance and thesis allowance
- Computer allowance (one-off)
- Settling-in allowance (one-off)
- Clothing allowance (one-off)
- Student visa and passport
- Shipping allowance (one-off at the end of course)
- Flight ticket (at the beginning and end of course)
- Insurance coverage (if applicable)
Recipients of scholarship will have the opportunity to experience work exposure through internship within Sime Darby Group of Companies.
Scholarship Application
This annual scholarship programme opens every year in April. Only online application will be considered.
