Minamas-Sime Darby Undergraduate Scholarship Programme 2010 (Overseas)

Scholarships are available for undergraduates (Srata Satu – S1) in overseas universities.
Minimum Requirements
- Indonesia citizen only
- Good A-Level; OR International Baccalaureate; OR other overseas foundations examination results
- Current students of selected overseas universities with recent academic results of at least second class honors (upper division) may apply.
- Proficiency in English is a MUST
- Strong leadership qualities
- In good health condition and free from any drug substances addiction proven by medical examination from general practitioner or doctor
- Currently not having scholarships from any institution
- Non academic achievements (i.e. in sports, science, or others) and involvements in extra- curricular activities or other organizations is an added value. For those having such achievements and involvements are requested to attach supporting documents
- Willing to follow and obey to the whole process and procedure of the scholarship
Service Bond Period
- On completion of their studies, scholars will be required to serve Sime Darby Group of Companies for 4 to 6 years, depending on the duration and value of the award
Fields of Study
Scholarship will be offered to individual pursuing the following fields of study:
- Business: Accountancy, Financial Management,
- Engineering and Technology: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial
- Agriculture-related: Agricultural Study, Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness
- Science: Biology

Value of Scholarship (Overseas)
The sponsorship covers the following:
- Full tuition and academic fees
- Living Allowance
- Books allowance
- Computer allowance (one-off)
- Settling-in allowance (one-off)
- Clothing allowance (one-off)
- Student visa and passport
- Shipping allowance (one-off at the end of course)
- Flight ticket (at the beginning and end of course)
- Insurance coverage (if applicable)
Recipients of scholarship will have the opportunity to undergo Scholars Development Programme and experience work exposure through internship within Sime Darby Group of Companies.
Scholarship Application
This annual scholarship programme opens every year in April. Only online application will be considered.

I am looking for PhD scholarship in plant protection, I have my BSc in Agricultural science from University of Gizera and my M.Sc in plant protection specialized in entomology from Sudan Academy of Science University, now I am a researcher in entomology research section, I did and have been doing many researches in the Area of entomology I realy want to find a chance for PhD specialy the field plant protection.
